Submission types

Important: Papers we consider  ONLY submissions to our online submission system. Papers sent via email won't be reviewed. Proposals for Industrial Presentations and Multimedia Show shall be sent to gc2010@graphicon.ru

Papers

Authors are invited to submit original papers reporting research results, practice and experience, or novel applications in the research areas described in the Call For Participation.

Authors may also submit additional materials such as video, photographs, source code, etc.

During submission process authors will be required to declare that they are prepared to present their work at GraphiCon'2010.

Papers must be written in English. Submissions in Russian are possible, but they will be organized in separate sections (English abstracts are required). Papers should not exceed 8 pages in length and should be formatted according to the GraphiCon'2010 formatting style. All accepted papers will be included in conference proceeding distributed in printed and electronic form.

Papers should be submitted in electronic form through our online submission system.

Young scientist school papers

Students are encouraged to submit short papers (2 pages) for Young scientist school. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference as posters and will appear in the proceedings. The official language of the school is Russian.

Industrial Presentations

Industrial presentations aim to share experience in applying computer graphics in industrial projects and applications. The presentations are planned to be given by either oral speech or poster demonstration - authors are invited to choose the most appropriate form.

Oral speech implies 15-30 minutes talk during which presenters are welcome to describe their projects or demonstrate their applications. Alternatively, authors will be given a space to pin their poster (max A0 at size), which will be available to the participants during the conference (special time will be allocated during which participants will be expecting your presenting the work at the poster).

Some other forms of industrial presentations, such as, for example, exhibition area, can be agreed. Please, contact organizing committee for details.

Papers with industrial presentations formatted in accordance with GraphiCon'2010 formatting style can be submitted by contacting Organizing Committee. Submission deadline is the same as for papers and work in progress reports.

Multimedia Show

Multimedia shows aim at demonstrating working multimedia systems as well as recent advances of computer graphics with respect to multimedia. There available several opportunities for presenting the multimedia shows, including video demonstration and oral presentation. Some other styles of presentation may be agreed upon with the organizing committee.
